Dr. Kameshwar Poolla is the Cadence Distinguished Professor at UC Berkeley in 

Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences and Mechanical Engineering. His core expertise is modeling, computation and control. His current research interests include micro economics of energy and transportation infrastructure, modeling and control of integrated circuit manufacturing processes, cyber-security and commercialisation. 

He has published over 300 refereed papers in archival journals and leading conferences, and has supervised 30 doctoral students and 45 postdocs.

Professor Poolla served as the Founding Director of the IMPACT Center for Integrated Circuit manufacturing. He co-founded OnWafer Technologies which was acquired by KLA - Tencor in 2007. 

He has served as a technology and mergers / acquisitions consultant for Cadence Design Systems. 

Dr. Poolla has been awarded a 1988 NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award, the 1993 Hugo Schuck Best Paper Prize, the 1994 Donald P. Eckman Award, the 1998 Distinguished Teaching Award of the University of California, the 2005 and 2007 IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing Best Paper Prizes, and the 2009 IEEE CSS Transition to Practice Award.

Jon is a founder of Trivèlla Investments, a Brazilian asset management company, focused on small caps investing, and a co-founder of TM3 Capital, a specialized company investing Venture Capital in tech startups. Previously Jon was Private Equity manager for Icatu Bank, where he specialized in acquiring minority stakes in mid-market, consumer-centric companies.

Jon earned his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, and a degree in Public Management from the FGV Foundation, both in São Paulo, additionally he earned an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Notably, at Jindal Steel & Power Limited, he played a pivotal role as Deputy Managing Director in the company's global wealth creation and diversification into oil & gas, IT, and real estate. Sushil Maroo's multifaceted experience covers strategy, finance, and commercial operations, making him a valuable asset in the corporate world.
